Strong northwest winds greeted visitors to Preshos 23rd Annual St. Patricks Day Celebration Saturday, March 12.

According to Blarney Commission member Carl Brakke, Although the number of parade entries and spectators may have been down due to the weather, those that came to celebrate St. Patrick had a grand time in Presho Saturday.

The 17th annual Shamrock Shuffle, a 3-mile fun run, started the day off at noon. Ninety six runners of all ages left the start line on the north end of Preshos main street. Strong northwest winds on the last stretch of the run took its toll on runners and walkers, as the number crossing the finish line didnt match the number finishing.
