Sheriff Investigates Theft Report
Sheriff Steve Manger responded to a report of a theft at the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop in Vivian on Friday, August 19. Apparently, a white male who appeared to be in his late 20’s or early 30’s walked into the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop office area Friday morning and stole approximately $3,960 dollars that was left unattended. The Sheriff’s office is now in the process of trying to identify the suspect. A surveillance camera recorded a photo of the suspect and the vehicle he was driving, an early 2000’s model Ford F250 or F350 regular cab long box pickup that was tan in color. The pickup has a tool box that stretches along both sides and behind the cab. If anyone has an idea of this person’s identity they are asked to contact the Lyman County Sheriff’s Office at 605-869-2267.
