Posted by kim
The Presho City Council has made arrangements to bring a car crusher to Presho within the next 3 weeks.
According to city finance officer Marlys Schlomer there will be no charge to crush cars that meet the requirements and are hauled to the Presho rubble site at the owners expense.
Important guidelines must be followed. Contact city employees Forrest Hupp or John Uthe for a written copy of requirements and to make arrangements for access to the rubble site.
Some of the rules include no gas in the tanks, no propane tanks, no additional junk inside the vehicle, and no tires. In addition, a vehicle title or an signed affidavit to prove ownership is required.
