Frank Taylor, 54
Funeral services for Frank Taylor, 54, Presho were Monday, December 7, 2009 at Presho Methodist Church.
Franklin Taylor was born to Glen and Ella Taylor on June 28, 1955 in the Hand County Hospital. He went to grade school at the country school then attended Highmore High School graduating in 1973. In 1977 Frank attended VoTech School for mechanics.
Frank worked on the family farm and surrounding farms until he started his career of construction for JV Bailey 1979. In 1994 he moved back to Highmore to take care of his Mom, until she passed away from cancer.
In 1994 Frank met Janet Terca at the Short Stop in Presho, while he was working construction for Bailey. In 1997 he moved to Presho with Janet and her daughter Brittney. Frank did many odd jobs around Presho for many people. He was always willing to drop anything to help someone. During the summer months he would go on the road doing construction which was his passion with his brother Glenn and nephew Travis. In 2008 Frank walked Brittney down the isle to marry Cody Lengkeek.
Frank loved to visit with his friends and play pool at the bar after a hard day of work. He enjoyed working on Chevy vehicles and old style vehicles, it was his hobby, also taking the two dogs to Fate Dam to get out of town for the short time to play his scratch tickets, and going to the Highmore farm on the weekends. He especially loved Sunday night dinners and playing cards with family and friends.
Through the good and bad times Frank was always there to do anything he could for family and friends. He will be missed.
