Monday, June 28, 2004, Blaine and Bev Kenobbie visited in the Roy and Sherry Kenobbie home, Pierre, enroute home they ate supper at the Vivian Junction Cafe.
Mrs. Don Fay and grand daughter, Mariah, Jackson, Michigan, were visitors and overnight guests in the Blaine and Bev Kenobbie home, Tuesday, June 29th
Irene Lafferty had a pleasant surprise Saturday afternoon when Kenny Ferris, Huron, stopped to visit. The Ferris family had lived at Highmore years ago when Irene did 40 years ago. Kenny was a youngster then.
Gladys Stewart, Sue Choal, Larry Peterson and Roland and Billy Mae Peterson, all of Reliance were weekend visitors for Lyle and Leola Peterson's anniversary and the family reunion.
Myrtle Mathison, Presho, and daughter Betty Gabbard, California, visited Irene Lafferty one day last week.
Sunday afternoon Melvin and Shirley MacCrander, Fremont, Nebraska, were visitors and coffee guests in the Lloyd and Lynette Marken home.
A week ago Sunday Ron and Ruth Ann McManus, family members, relatives and friends gathered for a party honoring the birthday of Don McManus with a cruise on the Capital City Queen on the Missouri River, Pierre. Luncheon, birthday cake and ice cream were enjoyed.
Saturday Lloyd and Lynette Marken visited over breakfast in Mitchell with Tyler Marken and family.
Wayne and Dorothy Monson have been unavailable for news for several weeks due to the fact that they have attended a Monson family reunion in Minnesota with 65 in attendance and ages ranged from 2 days to 89 years; went to a small town parade in Minnesota where only 205 people live and the parade had 200 entries; attended the Kimball All-School Reunion in which Bill and Mary Ann McKeinney, Chamberlain, entered the parade with their pick up decorated for the Class of 1957; they spent a weekend in Omaha, Nebraska, and were in Washington, D.C. with a couple from Minnesota, to attend a reunion of Air Force buddies of Wayne's.
Devotional coffee met Friday afternoon with 6 present.
Charles and Mary Ann Rogers hosted a 4th of July picnic dinner for the Norman Kuhl family, Salem; Carol Chernotik and boys and Carol's granddaughter, Chamberlain; Kari Rogers, Reed Anderson and Jayden, Yankton; and Katie Rogers, Chamberlain.
Leah Authier, who has been teaching in Africa but is on vacation, now, visited Barbara Roth Saturday. At noon they were joined at Al's Oasis Cafe, Oacoma, by Bonna Bahr and Polly Prchal, Oacoma, for visiting and dinner.
Saturday Don and Bonnie Schindler attended the Jason Bailhy-Vivian Rohebuck wedding, at Sylvan Lake.
Rick Roth, Rapid City, visited in the parental Barbara Roth home Sunday.
David Schindler was a Saturday and overnight guest of Shae McClanahan, Presho.
Sunday Barbara Roth played Scrabble at the Verna Schmitt home.
Bonnie Schindler visited in the Bob and Vickie King home, Kennebec, Thursday.
Marilyn Wagaman; Roberta Stewart; Edna Schelske; Gladys Stewart and grandson Grant Stewart; and Alan Suhl visited in the Loraine Suhl home during the week.
Tami and Stockton McClanahan, Presho, visited in the Don and Bonnie Schindler home Sunday evening, July 4th.
