Celebrating an early Christmas was the Herman Feddersen family. All of Ada Feddersen's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were at Presho Courts on November 27th. Thirty five people were there including Galene Meza and family from Hill City; Gerry Feddersen and family from Lakewood, CA; Lonnie Feddersen and family from Gillette, WY; Karla Ronda and family from Rockerville, SD; Linda Perry and family; Ronda Hunter and family from Gillette,WY; and Delmer and Delores Volmer.
Mary and Rod Link, Menno and Marty Gannon, Vivian visited Edith Gannon, Pierre over the weekend. Mary and Rod were guests of their son Marty and Holly Link and boys, Pierre.
The Bible study and ELCW met Tuesday at the church. Members shared Christmas treats and sent Christmas cards to the women at the Prison in Pierre and to the girls and boys at Custer boot camp. They also took donations for the angel tree in Pierre, anyone who wishes to contribute, leave your donations with one of the officers. Officers for the coming year are: President Jeanine Patrick; Co-President Lillian Severyn; Vice President Misti Chester; Sec-Treasurer Margaret Juhnke; Mission Action and Community Mary Lou Lintvedt; Mission Growth and Education Nancy Fristad.
Lauretta Scott hosted dinner at her home Sunday; an early Christmas for her grandson Sean Rogers, who is home from Iraq on leave. The following relatives were present: Merle, Kathy and Greg Aske, Sean Rogers, Carolyn Aske, Pierre; Bill, Jeanette, and Lynn Marshall, Ft. Pierre; Dennis, Brooke, Brenna Scott, Angela Ehlers, Presho; Charles, Mary Ann Rogers and daughters and two grandchildren, Reliance; Les and Deb Scott, Vivian. Sean returns to Iraq on December 17th.
Verna Young accompanied her son Ron and Karon Young, Pierre to Casper, WY for Thanksgiving. Ron's daughters and families were all there. Two new great grandchildren were there so every one enjoyed holding and spoiling them. They returned home on Sunday.
Thanks so much for the donations you gave to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. I sent them in on Monday morning.
The Vivian Lutheran's Christmas program, with supper following, will be held Sunday December 12, at 5:30 pm.
