Douglas Stephen Lillebo passed away December 22. 2020 at the age of 61 in El Paso, TX.

Graveside services were held on Monday, December 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Funeral Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home - West El Paso, TX.

He was born in Chinon, France on April 21, 1959 to Harold and Adele Lillebo. After France, the family moved to South Dakota and later settled in El Paso, TX. Doug served as a medic in the U.S. Army and then attended the University of Texas at El Paso receiving a business degree with honors. Passing the CPA exam, he began a career as a Certified Public Accountant. Doug spent the last 20 years as a partner with Charles Napier at Napier & Lillebo, LLP. He was very committed to his clients, colleagues and career.

It was over 30 years ago Doug met Sondy Pepper and after marrying her in 1991, they lived a happy life, enjoying world travel, collecting fine art, and the occasional fast ride on a motorcycle or in a corvette. A passionate man in his convictions and conservative in his views he was committed in life as in death to honor, dignity and strength.

Doug is survived by His wife Sondy of 29 years, stepsons, Doug and David Pack, siblings, David (Gisela Lillebo, Daniel (Azucena) Lillebo, Diane (Michael) Tajiri, Harold Melvin Lillebo. Aunts Deanna Johnson, Gloria Leichtam, Marion Brakke, Kathy Wells and Uncle Rodney Lillebo. Doug’s nieces Michelle (Joey) Cuellar, Kayla (Fernanda) Lillebo, Sarah Lillebo, Bianna Tajiri and nephews Jason Lillebo, David (Mareike) Heiner, Austin Tajiri, Danie Cory (Cerrissa) Lillebo, and Sondy’s grandchildren Aaron and Rebekah Pack, and many great nieces and nephews.

Doug is Proceeded in death by his parents Adele Lillebo, and Harold (Aurelia) Lillebo, his Maternal Grandparents Howard (Linnea) Burke, Paternal Grandparents Hilmer (Susie) Lillebo, Uncles, Charles Leichtnam, Edwin Lillebo, Gordon Lillebo, V. Dean Brakke, and Virgil Johnson.
