Linda Dianne (Reis) Hensley passed away, from coronavirus, on December 26, 2020 in Casper, Wyoming. There will be a private family burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Linda was born on July 7, 1961 in Gregory, SD. Four years later, Linda’s mother placed her in the care of her friend, Peggy Reis . The Reis family fell in love with the cute, dark-eyed little girl and formally adopted her shortly thereafter.

Linda was a friendly, loving child who enjoyed the company of her new brothers and many cousins. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1979. Following graduation, Linda enlisted in the National Guards.

Linda married Steve Polasky in 1980 and her first child, Jennifer was born. She moved to Wyoming after her divorce.

Linda found love again and was married to Rick Hensley. To this union, two more children were born, Shannon and Luke. This marriage did not last and Linda moved to Denver for a while, then back to Wyoming.

Linda always had various employment and remained independent and made friends everywhere she went.

While in Casper, she met Buddy Meade. Linda and Buddy never married, but loved each other deeply and together, shared the last fourteen years of Linda’s life.

Grateful for sharing her life are her many friends and relatives, especially her significant other, Buddy Meade and family. Linda is survived by a daughter, Jennifer, a daughter, Shannon and her three children, Cali, Layla and Cruze, and her son, Luke and his three children, Kash, Kody and Koen, two brothers, Brad (Carolyn) Reis and David (Brenda) Reis, many nieces and nephews.

Linda was proceeded in death by her grandparents, father and mother (Gordon and Peggy Reis) and brother, Randy Reis, all of Oacoma.
