Randall “Randy” Diedrich,67, passed away at his home in Pierre, SD on September 22, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 11:00am at The Bridge Wesleyan Church in Pierre with the family greeting visitors one hour prior to the services.

Robert Lee King was born on September 3, 1945, in Miller, SD, to parents Cecil and Darlene (Farnsworth) King. He spent his younger years in Miller, Lower Brule, and finally Kennebec, where his parents built Kings Motel in 1959. He attended Kennebec High School, where he distinguished himself in basketball. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City. On January 19, 1966, he married his high school classmate, Vickie Smith.

Susanne Thomson Loyd, born July 4, 1940, in Presho, South Dakota, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, friends, and beloved dog Babs by her side.

Esther Marie Cleland, 86, Rapid City, SD, died Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Monument Plus Hospice House, Rapid City, SD. Services were held Monday, September 11, 2023, with burial at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Fern Arlene Best (nee Moore), 83, of Brandon, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2023. Her family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life to be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church (1600 East 12th St., Sioux Falls, South Dakota) at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 16, 2023. A time of fellowship will follow. The interment will take place at a later, private ceremony.

Parkston – Willard “Curly” Schoenfelder, 94, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, August 2 at his home in Parkston. Funeral mass were held Tuesday, August 8 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston.
