A “Hat Day” was held by the Student Council on Friday the 13th. Students could donate one dollar or more to wear a hat for the day. The elementary, middle school, and high school classes that raised the most money received root beer floats at the end of the day. The event was held to raise money for the Heavenly Hat Foundation which provides new hats to kids with cancer.
