Lavonne Joy (Millard) Cadenhead,55, of Presho passed away peacefully on February 17, at Avantara in Pierre. A funeral service was held Monday, February 26th at the Grace Methodist Church in Presho.

Lavonne was Born on January 21, 1969, in Pierre, SD to Archie and Cora Jean (Stulken) Millard. She grew up and attended school in Presho where she graduated from Lyman High School in 1987.

She lived in Redfield SD from 2013-2020 and this is where she met and married Mark Cadenhead on May 28, 2017 in Redfield.

In her commitment to community service and passion for reading she volunteered work at the Lyman County Library. Lavonne dedicated countless hours to digitalizing books, ensuring that the joy of reading could be shared with others.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Harmon; her brothers, David (Barb) and Norval (Debbie); many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Travis and sister Ladonna.
